What is an AGF-14?
The AGF-14 Attic & Garage Ventilation Fan keeps your garage and attic cooler. It’s designed to mount in the ceiling of the garage, venting to the attic. The fan will turn on automatically via a thermostat and pull fresh air into the garage and exhaust into the attic pushing the superheated air through the existing attic venting. The AGF-14 Attic and Garage Fan will cool the garage as much as 20 degrees and the attic as much as 40 degrees.
How does an attic & garage fan work?
The AGF-14 works by pulling cooler, fresh air through the intake vents in the garage and exhausts the air into the attic. That then forces the super-heated attic air out the attic vents, which may include gable vents, ridge vents, dormer vents, whirley vents, etc. An adjustable thermostat allows homeowners to decide when the AGF-14 should activate for their particular climate or season.
What type of fan do I need?
- AGF-14: Ideal for homes with an attic above the garage. Designed to remove the heat trap from both your attic and garage.
- AF-14: Specifically designed for homes with attic spaces. This fan has multiple mounting opinions including; gable, dormer vent, whirley bird, etc.
- SWGF-14: This is a sidewall ventilation fan designed for homes that are 2-story, flat roof, or no attic space above the garage. Also suitable for stand alone garages, sheds, or any other closed space that needs ventilation.
